Hello. I realize that our promise to post about Mountain Goats songs every day is now broken. There are reasons for this (exploding computers, changes of continent, etc.) but I do not want to give you excuses. Instead I will institute a change of policy. From now on, whenever possible, we will post about Mountain Goats songs. That way it will be a surprise.

WHAT
The correct word is "œuvreblog." We do not like this word. It makes us feel pretentious.
Nevertheless, this is a Mountain Goats œuvreblog. It is BYOB, but we do have hors d'œuvres, as well as every other kind of edible œuvre.

WHEN
Every day, one or both of us will post about a Mountain Goats song. Sometimes this will include weekend days. Other times it will not.
OTHER NOTES
In this blog, John Darnielle (the lead singer, lyricist and overall genius behind the Mountain Goats) will be referred to as the Alpha Cabra (which translates to "Head Goat"). Sometimes this will be respectfully abbreviated to "A.C."
